She is survived by: her husband Derry Sparlin; her children, Dean Sparlin (Debbie) of Springfield, Virginia, Lee Fankhauser (Steve) of McAllen and Louise Dickinson (Jeff Klein) of Rotterdam; her grandchildren, Sarah Gibbs (Kevin) of Austin, Paul Fankhauser of Schenectady, Christopher Sparlin of Springfield, William Dickinson (Catherine) of Scotia, Cindy Sparlin of Watertown, Joe Dickinson of Rotterdam and Mark Fankhauser (Stephanie) of McAllen; and her great grandchildren, August, Owen Gibbs of Austin and Samantha Fankhauser of McAllen.
She found fulfillment through numerous outlets, including crocheting toys that she happily donated to charity.
