He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Laura De Leon; his children, Edilio De Leon, Jr. (Celene), Laura Arlene De Leon (Francisco), George De Leon (Aleida) and Michelle De Leon; and his mother Evangelina De Leon. He was also cherished by three sisters and one brother.
