He was predeceased by: his parents, Gumercindo Hernandez and Tomasita Hernandez (Ortiz). He is survived by: his former wife Blanca D. Reyes; his wife Blanca D. Hernandez; his children, Aaron Hernandez (Xochitl), Blanca Garza (Jaime) and Dennis Hernandez; his sister Oliva Arreola; and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Paulina, Rebekah, Valeria, Victoria and Grace. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
