She was predeceased by: her husband Henry W Jones (Bill); her parents, Franke Cooke and Evelyn Nash; and her siblings, Albert Cooke and Ethel Monroe.

She is survived by: her children, Bill Jones (Jody) of McAllen, Diana Lynne Chapman (Ray) of McAllen and Frances Jones Bradley (Mathew) of McAllen; her grandchildren, Vivian Rowland (John), Blake Thomas (Patricia) and Devin Thomas (Kimberley); her great grandchildren, Taylor Rowland, Trevor Rowland, Cora Thomas, William and Andrew Thomas; her nephew James Thomas Monroe of Berkeley; and her nieces, Annie Windmeyer of San Antonio and Diana Dusek of Wallis, Texas..
