He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brookover of McAllen; his children, Sara Robbins (Shawn Johnson) of Mohammed, IL, Amanda Brookover of Pharr and Laura Brookover Ybarra (Marc) of Arlington, TX; his grandchildren, Kallie, Joseph, Aubrey, Daliah and Eli; and his brother Jeff Brookover (Carol).
