He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Herminia "Minnie" Villarreal; his children, Lizette Moran (Victor), Lilly Rigsby (Alan), Iris Castro (David), Ida Perez (Eddie) and D. J. Villarreal (Sonia); and his parents, Jose Villarreal and Apolonia Villarreal. He was also cherished by his 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
