Concepcion Barreiro Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Concepcion Barreiro Jr. of McAllen, Texas, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Concepcion Barreiro Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Teresa Barreiro and Concepcion Barreiro Sr.; and his nephew Cesar Omar Barreiro Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lucia Reyes Barreiro; his grandchildren, Rey (Cassie), Andrea, Angela, Cristian, Carolina and Lilly; his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Santiago; his siblings, Clariza, Cesar Omar (Karen Barreiro), Carlos Roel (Velma Barreiro), Cynthia (Felix Hernandez) and Drs; and his in-laws, Cristella Reyes, Juan and Mary Lou Mora. He is also survived by his family, friends and H-E-B Partners.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rivera Funeral Home - McAllen (1901 Pecan Blvd, McAllen, TX 78501). A rosary will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (306 S 15th St, McAllen, TX 78501).
He volunteered early in life with The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley informing produce and food distributors about the need for donation for our community and the H-E-B Feast of Sharing events.
