He is survived by: his wife Janie Madero of McAllen; his children, Arturo Madero (Julie) of Edinburg and Blanca Gomez (David) of McAllen; his grandchildren, Andrea (Daniel), Anthony, Vivianna and Julian; and his siblings, Raul Madero and Noemi Acevedo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
