She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Bentsen and Edna "Dolly" Bentsen; her brothers, Senator Lloyd Bentsen, Jr. (Beryl Ann Longino), Donald Bentsen (Nell McCarter) and Kenneth Bentsen (Mary Bates); her daughter Ellen Ruth Johnson; and her former husband Robert Daniel Winn.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Daniel Winn, Jr. and Susan Winn Lowry (William David Lowry, III); her grandchildren, Carrie Johnson Fiorito (Ted) and William David Lowry, IV (Vanessa); and her great grandchildren, William David "Liam" Lowry, Lilia Ruth Fiorito and Luke Anthony Fiorito. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church - McAllen (1200 Beech Ave, McAllen, TX 78501).
