He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe T. Olivarez and Francisca G. Olivarez; and his sister Guadalupe G. Kelly (Jack). He is survived by: his sisters, Rebecca O. Saenz (Ascencio), Sylvia O. Gonzalez (Diego), Yolanda O. Ybanez, Cynthia Olivarez and Anna O. Saenz (Javier Jr.); and his children, Carlos Avelino Olivarez, Vanessa Patricia Olivarez, Sarah Andrea Ruiz (Rafael) and Jaxson.
