He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Luz Quiroz; his parents, Alberto Quiroz and Maria Dolores Rivas; and his brothers, Hector Quiroz Rivas, Ruben Quiroz Rivas and Juan Quiroz Rivas.
He is survived by: his children, Alberto Quiroz (Veronica), Leticia Quiroz Perez (Gerardo), Mary Ortiz (Manuel), Gabriella Pina (Armando), Samuel Quiroz (Leticia), Juan (Karla) of Dios, David Quiroz and Hector Quiroz (Palmira); his stepchildren, Martha Zavala (Ricardo), Francisco Zavala Lazaro and Elvira Delgado (Francisco); and his siblings, Olga Mireya Quiroz Rivas, Raquel Quiroz Rivas, Blanca Idalia Quiroz Rivas, Elvia Quiroz Rivas and Agustin Jaime Quiroz Rivas. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home - Edinburg (208 E Canton Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A prayer was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Roselawn Cemetery (1501 S Main St, McAllen, TX 78501).
