He was predeceased by: his parents, Herminia "Minnie" Diaz and Abelardo Hilario Sr.; his sisters, Lydia "Lisa" Hernandez, Esther Hernandez and Frances Hernandez; his nephew Moses Canales of Big Spring; and his brother John Hernandez of Houston, TX..
He is survived by: his partner Mirta Calvillo; his children, Alejandro Hilario and Matilda Irvin; his siblings, Leticia Lopez (Rickey Lopez), Dora Hernandez (Ernest Rodriguez), Gilbert Hernandez (Sue Hernandez) of Big Spring and Joe Hernandez (Lennet Hernandez) of Amarillo, TX.; his friends, Jennifer Desiga and April Sanchez; and his extended family, Cynthia, Julio Casas, DJ, Janet Desiga, Robert, Katherine Cavazos and Domingo Desiga. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
