He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Short Yager and E. B. Yager; his siblings, Thomas Yager, Ben Yager and Peggy Marion; and his granddaughter Sarah Yager.
He is survived by: his wife DeLane Yager; his brother Billy Yager; his sons, James Yager and David Yager; and his granddaughter Joyce Yager. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
His family requests that, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or FBC Cameron.
