He was predeceased by: his parents, Buck Wheatley (L. H.) and Viola Wheatley of Buena Vista; and his sister Teddy (Tony Carpenter). He is survived by: his wife Linda Wheatley; his children, Michael (Annett Wheatley) of Maypearl, Bradley (Sheri Wheatley) of Springtown, Dana (Danny Pearson) of Maypearl and Kathy Chesser of Maypearl; his sister Brenda (Ronald Appleton) of Waxahachie; and his grandsons, Bryson Wheatley, Joshua Pearson, Samuel Pearson, Matthew Pearson, Bradley Richardson and Ryan Nickels. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers it is requested to that a memorial be made to the Solar Radio Mission Ministry sponsored by Sunset International Bible Institute 3723 34th St. Lubbock, Texas 79410.
