She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Stanford and George Stanford; and her significant other Robert James Sommers. She is survived by: her children, Robert Lance Sommers and Nevelyn Jo Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Maliah, Stephanie, Richard and Glenn; her siblings, Vera Alphin (Charles), Ruth Jones and Harrold Stanford (Ivy); and her sister-in-law Nancy Dehtan.
