He is survived by: his wife Kim; his son Taylor Bryant Hohertz (Kimberly) of Temple; his grandchildren, Henry Cole Hohertz and Charlotte Sophia AnnMarie Hohertz; his siblings, Ronald Gregg Hohertz (Cheryl) of Lockhart, Rhonda Hohertz Covarrubias (Will) of Geronimo and Clay Kendall Hohertz (Becky) of Maxwell; his nieces and nephews, Meghan Hohertz (Desmond Young) of Seattle, Jake Hohertz of Maxwell, Josh Hohertz (Tabitha) of Round Mountain, Mikayla (Will Herron) of Granite Shoals and Kaleb Covarrubias of Geronimo; and his goddaughter Justyne Covarrubias of Geronimo.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McCurdy Funeral Home (105 E Pecan St, Lockhart, TX 78644). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ebenezer Lutheran Church (291 Church St, Maxwell, TX 78656). A procession was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Live Oak Cemetery (10739-10799 Twin Creek Rd, Manchaca, TX 78652).
