He was predeceased by: his daughter Monica Runnels; his father Buddy Wayne Runnels; and his daughter-in-law Ashley Runnels. He is survived by: his wife Judy Runnels of Mauriceville, TX; his mother Martha Weatherford; his children, Latisha Runnels Gonzales of Vidor, TX, Mandy Runnels of Beaumont, TX and Michael Runnels Jr. of Mauriceville, TX; and his brother John Wayne Runnels of Magnolia, TX. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
