She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson D. Ryland and Margaret E. Ryland. She is survived by: her significant other John R. McFatter; her children, David W. McFatter (Laura), S. Elaine Beto (Kenny), Catherine J. McFatter and J. Wesley McFatter; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jones (Jay), Jeffrey McFatter (Crystal), Trey McFatter (Emily), Christopher Beto (Alyssa), Johnathan Beto (Amailia), Peyton Franco (Shelby), Paige Oestreich (Blake) and Nicole Bailey (Robert); her great grandchildren, Julie, Tres, Joslyn and Janna Jones; her grandchildren, Madison, Kinsley, Justin McFatter, Arlin McFatter, Audrey, Maximus Beto, Paxton Franco, Marley, Cameron Oestreich, Jayden Herrera, Cooper and Bryce Bailey; her siblings, Rita Crow (Hal) and Douglas Ryland (Linda); and her caregivers, Gwen Summers and Stephanie Saenz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Winsteads' Funeral Home (121 N Duval St, Mathis, TX 78368). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Sue's memory.
