He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Salazar; his children, Austin Samuel Salazar, Samantha Jane Salazar, Jeraldine K. Smith Jr. (Mitch) and Rodriguez; and his brother Ruben Salazar. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, maternal aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
