She was predeceased by: her parents, Anastasio Puentes and Lucia Salinas Puentes; and her siblings, Adela Puentes, Jesus Puentes and Juan Simon Puentes.

She is survived by: her husband Rosendo Silva Sr.; her children, Vicki Silva Lewis (Curtiss) of Lucy Silva, Rosendo Silva Jr., Jose Silva (Lupita) and Stephen Silva (Oralia); and her siblings, Maria Soto, Margarita Silva, Sylvia Gonzalez, Eloisa Garza and Jose Puentes of Martin Puentes. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 1 Great-grandchild.
