She was predeceased by: her parents, Guillermo Sr and Roberta Garcia Sr.; her husband Juan Bernal; her daughter Mary Gonzales; and her sisters, Eva Rios, Elia Diaz and Sylvia Garcia.

She is survived by: her brothers, Adam Garcia, Guillermo Garcia Jr. and Roberto Garcia; her children, Beatrice Shilvock, Berlinda Lilly, Bonnie Boyle, Benita Spurgin, Becky Bernal and Bernardo Bernal; and her siblings, Estela Nieto, Janie Garibay, Bertha Lopez and Jessie Garcia. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren 42 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
