He is survived by: his wife Angelita Benavides; his sons, Domingo Benavides and Benito Benavides Alice (Maria Cordelia); his sister Inez DeLeon; his grandchildren, Leonard, Michael, Bethany, Laura, Leslie, Domingo (Gitter), Daniel, Christina and Christal; his great grandchildren, Melyna, Mikey, Nicholas, Chris, Daniel, Alyssa, Elliott, Aaron, Taidyn, Amerie, Leo III, Josh and Brandon; and his great great grandchildren, Liam, Harper, Kendall, Riley and Ashton.
