He is survived by: his wife Ernestina Hinojosa; his children, Esmeralda Hinojosa, Noralinda Sanchez (Manuel), Miguel Hinojosa (Senaida), David Hinojosa (Maria), Gilbert Hinojosa and Robert Hinojosa (Renee); his siblings, Petra Villarreal, Ofelia Silva, Lupita Gonzales, Virginia Escamilla, Alicia Perez, Juanita Garcia, Seferino Hinojosa Jr. and Rafael Hinojosa; and his grandchildren, Ernesto Gutierrez III and Jennifer Cervantes.
