We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2020, at the age of 98, Mary M. Chopelas of Mathis, Texas, born in Ivanhoe, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Manley Gray and Arra Elizabeth Gray; her husband John Chopelas; her children, George Chopelas (Genie) of Alpine and Dana Clendening (Jerry) of Austin, Texas; her grandchildren, Chris Chopelas of Alpine, Adriane Brown (Cody) of Gillet, Jason Chopelas of Alpine, Heather Bradley (Kelly) of Austin and Holly Whitehurst (Chris) of Austin; and her sisters, Avis Ruth Sommers of Karnes CIty and Frances Marie Owen of Oklahoma City, OK. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
