She was predeceased by: her parents, Andres Sanchez Cortez and Celia Chapa Cortez; her husband Wilford "Bill" Young; and her siblings, Ninfa Pena, Frank Cortez and Ramon Cortez.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Stevenson (Gordon) and Bobby Martin; her grandchildren, Kevin Martin, Ryan Stevenson (Rylie), Kenny Martin, Katy Stevenson Hernandez (Patrick), Samantha Martin Almendariz (Frank) and David Stevenson (Alex); her great grandchildren, Cooper Wayne Stevenson, Maverick Wayne Stevenson, Conway Dainger Stevenson, Mathew Almendariz and Evelyn Almendariz; and her sister Connie Cortez. She is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
