She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Tijerina and Amalia Tijerina (Rodriguez); her husband Jose Hernandez Sr.; and her children, Jose Hernandez Jr. and Vadelia Hernandez.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Farias, Elvira Hernandez, Juana Lerma, Valentina Cantu, Tomasa Pina, Josie Monsibaiz, Ramona Pena, Elda Hernandez, Benjamin Hernandez, Domingo Hernandez, Israel Hernandez, Enrique Hernandez, Ramiro Hernandez and Noe Hernandez; and her sister Manuela Pineda. She is also survived by 49 grandchildren; 98 great- grandchildren; and 43 great-great grandchildren.
