He is survived by: his wife Angelita Gutierrez; his children, Laura Gutierrez, Nadine Gutierrez and Abel Gutierrez; and his sisters, Amelia Benavidez, Enriqueta Ruiz and Rosa Montez. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
