With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lila J. Castleberry in Mathis, Texas, born in Seguin, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Berry and Lila Berry; her husband Evert Monroe Castleberry Jr.; her children, Ronnie Castleberry and Mary Jane Castleberry; and her grandmothers, Mae Galle, Estelle Freeman, Otera Dile, Alice Turnbull and Pauline Hines.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Rhinehart, Barbara Castleberry, David Lynn Castleberry (Debra), James Castleberry (Rose Marie), Coy Castleberry (Gloria) and Steven Castleberry; her brothers, Irvin Patrick Berry (Irene) and Lynn Berry (Virginia); and her daughter-in-law Rhonda Castleberry. She is also survived by ses 19 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 49 great-great-grandchildren.
