He is survived by: his wife Leticia Lara; his sons, Juan Miguel Lara, Marcos Antonio Lara (Jasmine) and Lucas Leonardo Lara; and his siblings, Esmeralda Dominguez (Benjamin), Martin Lara, Lazaro Lara III (Lucero) and Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Godchildren.
