It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Leland Terrell of Mathis, Texas, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carl Terrell Sr. and Emma Dessie Boles Terrell; his wife Loeta Jo Hedgcoth; his siblings, Bob, Gene, Mike, Jimmy, Boots Johnson and Joyce Whitfield; his grandson William Leland Read; and his great grandchild Erica Jo Olson.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Read (Bill) of Jonesborough Tennessee and Scott Terrell (Sherry) of Sandia Tx; his grandchildren, Melinda Pennington (Avery), Sonja Vogler (James), Jackie Terrell (Christi), Jason Schnider (Heather) and Eric Schnider (Audra); his sisters, Pat Barker, Darlyn Baugh and Carlyn McWhorter; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Terrell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (221 E Fulton St, Mathis, TX 78368).
