She was predeceased by: her husband Gilberto Gonzalez Sr.; her parents, Luis Pena and Petra Pena; her son Domingo Soto; and her brother Antonio Pena, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Maria Leal, Delfina Figueroa, Gilberto Gonzalez Jr., Corina DelBosque, Gerardo Gonzales, Roel Gonzalez, Irene Coronado and Juanita Gonzalez (Janie); and her stepchildren, Dalia Johnston and Dalila Briseno. She is also survived by 50 grandchildren, 104 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
