He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Anastacio Soliz of Guanajuato and Maria Guadalupe Garcia Soliz of Mathis, Texas.; his siblings, Pedro Soliz Sr. of Mathis and Sylvia Soliz Banda of Hollis; his nephew Frank Marez Jr.; and his nieces, Denise Marez of Mathis Texas and Tanya Ortiz of Houston, Texas..

He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Sue Soliz (James Cashion) of Houston; and his grandchildren, Jacob H. Cashion and Belen A. Cashion.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Winsteads' Funeral Home (121 N Duval St, Mathis, TX 78368). A rosary was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
