With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George G. Rodriguez in Mathis, Texas, who passed away on February 16, 2025 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Rodriguez and Catarina Rodriguez; and his brothers, Lorenzo Rodriguez, Manuel Rodriguez and Isaac Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his children, Leticia Soto (Carlos), Velma Rios (Juan), Georgia Perez, Norma Ashleigh Rodriguez, Blanca Rodriguez, Brenda Rodriguez, Roberto Rodriguez, Enrique Rodriguez (Deidra) and Mario Rodriguez (Gina); his wife Constancia Rodriguez; his daughter Veronica Rodriguez; and his sister Estephana Gonzales. He is also survived by his 28 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Winsteads' Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (217 W San Patricio Ave, Mathis, TX 78368). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM.
