He is survived by: his wife Christine Diaz; his children, Dolores Moreno (Valtazar), Julie Soto (Joel), Richard Diaz (Hilda) and Michael Diaz (Velma); his sister Elodia Valdez; his nieces, Elma Requenez and Grace Bueno; and his nephew John Valdez.
