He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto Brosig and Rosa Elia Brosig; his brothers, Sergio and Ernesto Brosig III; his grandparents, Manuel, Maria Ponce, Ernesto and Leonor Brosig; and his grandchildren, Heaven Lee and Miracle Faith Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal B. Posada (Johnny) of Beeville, Cristina Brosig of Kingsville, Celeste Brosig of Mathis, Ciara Brosig of Mathis, Chloe Marie Brosig of Mathis, Texas and Carlos Christian Brosig (Ashley) of Mathis, Texas; and his siblings, Debra Martinez (George) of Beeville, Texas, Javier Brosig (Becky) and Cesar Brosig (Rosita) of Mathis.
