He is survived by: his daughters, Lupe Gutierrez of Dallas and Rosita Velasco of Portland, Texas; his stepdaughters, Peggy Velasco and Isabel Rivera; his sons, Chris Gutierrez and Joey Monsibias; and his sister Elsa G. Herrera.
