He was predeceased by: his parents, Simeon Lewis McCumber and Ola Louise (McNeil); and his wife Nancy McCumber. He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Griffin; his sons, Rick McCumber (Cindy) of Huntsville and Tyler McCumber (Robin) of Dinero; and his sisters, Ardis Bea McCumber of Lagarto and Genevieve Montgomery of Corpus Christi. He is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
