With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Nell Pope Lane (Mathis, Texas), who passed away on August 29, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Jackson Pope and Beulah Naurene Parker Pope; her former husband Charles Stanley McKinny; her siblings, James Willie Po, Gerald Lee Pope, David Wayne Pope and Betty Joyce Pope Dutcher; her niece Terry Lynn Dutcher; and her grandson Caleb Jordan McKinny.
She is survived by: her husband Daryl O. Lane; her sister Margie Pope Couch (Berl); her children, Gwynell Westervelt (Van) of Bluntzer, Texas, Charles Stanley McKinny (Leslie) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Gary Gene McKinny (Sunny) of Taft, Texas, Allen Lane (Becky) of Conroe, Texas, Kerry Lane (Cathy) of Corpus Christi, Dana Lane of Mont Belvieu, Texas and Richard Lane (Jacque) of Heath, Texas; and her grandchildren, Shannon Rubrecht (Jason), Rebecca Schumann (Ryan), Richard McKinny, Chris McKinny (Mindy), Joshua McKinny (Jennifer), Nathan Westervelt (Kim), Shayne Westervelt (Hannah), Luke Westervelt, Kaleb Lane (Jennifer), Casey Lane, Keri Lane, Sarah Lane, Tanner Lane, Taylor Lane, Jake Lane, Emma Lane, Matthew Bridges and Madison McGehee.
