With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Armando DeLeon of Mathis, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Armando left this world on March 2, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurora DeLeon and Andres Sr. DeLeon; and his siblings, Carmen Ramon, Yolanda DeLeon and Andres DeLeon Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Jezelle Isbell and Jeanet Garcia (Raul); his grandchildren, Gregorio Ozuna III, Myranda Danielson (Ryan), Reinaldo Ramos III, Ecelia Ramos, Christopher Ramos, Josiah Ayarzagoitia and Magnus Ayarzagoitia; his great grandchild Harper Danielson; his siblings, Erasmo DeLeon Sr. (Rosemary), Noe DeLeon Sr., Baldomero DeLeon and Margarita Dominguez; and his wife Martha DeLeon. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Winsteads' Funeral Home (121 N Duval St, Mathis, TX 78368). A rosary was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (217 W San Patricio Ave, Mathis, TX 78368). A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the Cenizo Hill Cemetery (23832 County Rd 441, Mathis, TX 78368).
