It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David William Allen of Matagorda, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on July 12, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Bester Allen and Grace Phoebe Zeuch Allen; and his sister Phoebe Goedecke. He is survived by: his wife Carol Allen; his children, Julie, Ray Culver, Jr., Elicia Allen, Harry Schreffler, David and Sheila Allen; his grandchildren, Cassie Culver (Cole Leissner), Miranda Doyle, Brynner Doyle and David William Allen III; his siblings-in-law, Rudolph Goedecke, Mary Joe Janac, Yvonne Balloun and Linda Balloun; and also, Virginia Carol Balloun, Julie Anne, Elicia Lynn and David Jr. David.
