She is survived by: her granddaughters, Jessica Blackburn and Keisha Martin; her great grandchildren, Leslie Blackburn, Isabelle Blackburn, Layla Rose McCurry, James of Kansas, Chevy Blackburn of Kansas, Zerrick of Kansas and Woodrow McCurry of Kansas; and her siblings, Bennie Meredith of Roaring Springs, Verlon Lindsey of Clute and Mariilyn Weise of Temple. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
