Kathleen Ray Baxter Obituary
In loving memory of Kathleen Ray Baxter of Matador, Texas, who departed this world on February 26, 2025 at the age of 83. Kathleen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. R. Davis and Sis Davis; her brothers, Buddy, Pete and Charles Davis; and her grandson Dandy.
She is survived by: her husband Don Baxter; her son Don Baxter, Jr. (Matador); her caregiver Cindy Martin; and also, Jim and Judy Cooper. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 1314 Main St, Matador, TX 79244. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gospel Church (603 2nd St, Roaring Springs, TX 79256). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Afton Cemetery (1328 Co Rd 218, Afton, TX 79220).
Memorial Donations may be made to the Afton Cemetery or the Motley County Senior Citizens.
