He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Bearden and Ethel Bird Bearden (Toots); his siblings, Carlena Osborn and Ros Bearden; and his son James Hal Bearden.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Gail Harwell (Brown); his daughter Tina Bearden Hartness (Greg); his grandchildren, Derek Loveless (Kristen), Holly Bellah (Steven) and Hannah Hartness; and his sister Jackie Green (Ricky). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Matador Volunteer Fire Department, Matador First United Methodist Church, East Mound Cemetery or Matador Senior Citizens.
