She was predeceased by: her husband Truitt Wesley Read of Dumont; her parents, Brigham Mann Young of Gravette and Jannie Delphene Dyches Young of Lubbock; her stepmother Leda White Young of Gravette; and her brother Burnett Mann Young of Gilpin, Texas..
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Terry (Malcom), Vic Read and Scott Read; and her sisters, Kay Prestridge (John) of Tyler and Mary Beth Igal of Ralls, Texas.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations be made to Matador Methodist Church, Methodist Children's Home in Waco or Delta Kappa Gamma.
