She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleno Castillo and Rita Castillo; her daughter Sondra Montez; and her siblings, Valentina Dominguez and Victor Castillo.
She is survived by: her husband Arturo Nelms of Mason; her son Gerardo Marquez (Debbie) of Rockwall, TX; and her sisters, Olga Mesa (Mason) and Juanita Zavala (Fredericksburg). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that we respect Vickie's wishes and donate to the Mason County Cancer Society.
