He is survived by: his son William Harold "Hal" Zesch (Amy Daviss Zesch); his grandchildren, Kellie Zesch Weir (James Weir), Jessica Zesch (Glen Lam), Jordan David Zesch and Hannah Kristine Zesch; and his great grandchildren, Thomas Harold Weir, Helen Ora Otis Weir and Zesch-Lam.
