He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Allison and Wilma Meeler; his son Gerald Lane Gibson, Jr.; his sister Glenda Stevens; and his grandson John Stowers.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gibson of Mason; his children, Chris Gibson (Kara) of Fredericksburg, Eddie McBee (Jeanette) of Ellendale, Kimberly Durham (Robert) of Mason, Christy Brownfield of Big Spring, Victoria Golleher of Big Spring and Elizabeth Stovall (Adam) of Whitehouse; his brother Bob Allison of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Baylor Gibson, Rylee, Kyleigh, Kadynce Bradley, Hannah Horton, Alexis Brown, Austin Miller, Shalla, Alice McBee, Brandon Stowers, Sandi, Jason Jr., Jayden Golleher, Ashley, Cheyenne Gibson, Dylan Register and Garrett Brownfield. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help with the funeral expense.
