He is survived by: his son Larry (Sharon); his friend Betty Locke; his wife Myrle; his sister Dorothy of Minnesota; his children, Donna Cavness (Jimmy Brewer) and Arvid; his grandchildren, Tonya Cavness (Robert A.), Amanda Carlson (Scott Clough), Sarah Carlson, Kelsey Sullivan (Justin) and Garrett Carlson; and his great grandchildren, Lindsey Cavness Yanish and Sara Carlson.
