He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Robert Gierisch and Virginia Bertha Stucke. He is survived by: his wife Sue Boudreaux; his children, Nicholas Trey Gierisch of Mason and Delana Nichol Johnson (Jeff) of San Angelo; his siblings, Ernest Robert Gierisch, Jr. (Louise) of Mason and Linda Gierisch Doyal (Teddy Ray) of Mason; and his uncles, Carl Gierisch and Dorman Gierisch. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home (204 Postoak St, Mason, TX 76856). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (104 S Magnolia St, Mason, TX 76856). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Gooch Cemetery (571 Bickenbach Ave, Mason, TX 76856).
