He is survived by: his children, Chi-Ela Dillard, Celia Helms, Denita Dodson and Anthony Menefee; his sisters, Deana Hairston, Nina Finney (Otis) and Brenda Johnson (James); and his granddaughter Leamiya Dillard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
